Proxy Finder (IP Switcher) is an extension for the Opera browser designed to help users configure proxy servers. This tool is useful for bypassing regional restrictions, avoiding IP-based blocks, and browsing anonymously. The extension supports two modes of operation:

  • Automatic mode: this mode enables the extension to automatically find proxies based on the user's specified criteria and connect to them.
  • Manual mode: users can manually input details for a custom proxy server. Supported protocols include HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5.

The extension also includes a feature to access logs, providing users with detailed information about proxy usage.

Step-by-step proxy setup in Proxy Finder extension

  1. First, install the plugin from the Opera store. After installation, access the extension's settings by clicking on its name in the extensions menu.
